10 Musical Thoughts: Whitney Houston's Best Of...

Today I did a lighthearted piece for Idolator called (longwindedly) Whitney Houston’s 10 Best Songs That Were Left Off (The Standard Version Of) Her New ‘Best Of’

Thank you :)

I also believe that many songs from the underrated Just whitney should be remembered as well: One of those days, Dear John letter, Unashamed, those songs are amazing. Watchulookinat (i won't bother checking the spelling), however was her worst song ever.

Thanks for your comment! I actually have a soft spot for the fierce Tell Me No from that album. I wish it had been a single.

You're very welcome! What an amazing first single it would have been, Tell Me No...
I've always loved my whitney but to be honest i was never as moved by her songs as until My Love Is Your Love. Her suffering voice and more defiant attitude, the feeling that she finally meant or had felt what she was singing then... I miss her so much.
I'm making my own compilation including the amazing Alfie, I miss you, and a few other beautiful covers from the Classic Whitney concert (which i hope will be released officially someday).

You're bang on with these 10. That's a whole 'nother album right there.

The UK is getting one, but not the US, it seems!
