Finally got round to listening to this. Fantastic! Can't wait for this album--sounds like more of a return to Magic Position territory, but maybe even better?
I know some people prefer Patrick's more eclectic stuff, but The City is simply glorious pop, that sax gives it a real late 70's/early 80's feel. That it's downright cheery - like The Magic Position - makes it a big win for me.
