Wait. your. turn.

Click on the image above to hear what sounds like a sample of a new Rihanna track. She's working Grace as her new style icon. You wanna talk about who the next Madonna is? I've said it before...

Update: The song, Russian Roulette, is surprisingly mid-tempo and subtle on melody. It's a bit of a wailer. Not what I expected (and as of now, I don't mean that in a good way).

I wouldn't mind. (She's mentioned in interviews years ago that she wants to be the next Madonna, but what pop star doesn't?)

she will never be madonna, she doesnt write her own songs friend, i see her as more of the next whitney... with half the voice

I once heard her being interviewed on the radio and she could barely string a sentence together. She may have a decent voice but I doubt she has the intelligence to become as big as Madonna was.

My Madonna comment is more of a random polemic than a prediction! I'm just a bit weary of the Gaga as New Savior commentaries.

Is that all there is to it? Countdown to 20 seconds of the song?

Nevermind, I was impatient.

See my first reaction above. Meh.

I just wonder if this is like how Whitney released "I look to you" and then really Million Dollar Bill was the proper single...I dunno. It seems like everyone is following the UK method of releasing an 'announcer' single and then one to launch the album
