Robbie: Don't call it a comeback

This promo includes a minute-long snippet of Robbie Williams' new song The Last Days Of Disco, which sounds A LOT like a Pet Shop Boys track. Sexy. I may not have said it, but I'm not really a fan of current single Bodies, a song I think tries too hard to be too many things to too many people.

the promo machine kicks into gear big style this weekend - he's on the first XFactor live show (which is bound to totally overshadow Alexandra)and then on Sunday he gives away his greatest hits (sort of - live versions and album tracks) in the Mail on Sunday (EVIL!) with I believe clips from his new album on - or at least access to them if you pop the cd into your computer...

god, he's so hot! i couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. with that being out of the way, i must say i agree with you on "bodies"; he needed something more compelling than that for a big comeback. i still prefer live-sounding robbie over electronic robbie; it just doesn't work as well with his voice.

That BBC review makes it sound like it's "Difficult For Weirdos" that will be the big PSB-esque keeper; I'm pretty excited for that and several other songs on the album. Oh, who am I kidding--the whole album, really.
