A certain 23-year-old lady can run around aping Bette Midler on magazine covers, but that bitch ain't got nothing on this woman, in her 30's at the time of this photo.

    Okay 'fan-drool' moment here: I honestly wish The Immaculate Collection singles had an accompanying album to go with it - she was at her iconic height during this era. All else ascends to or enjoys the ride from it. I don't mean instead of though..

    hahaha we had our Madonna, let the kids have their Gaga. It could be worse, they could be worshipping Ashley Tisdale! :p

    Will, Thanks - and yes, that's true re: Ashley Tisdale.

    Do you ever dislike any artists? I see you being diplomatic in comments, but I honestly have no sense of which musicians/groups you truly love or truly don't.

    I rarely use my bit of webspace to rant about particular artists - they often just don't exist in my world! So when I do give a jab (rude as the one above was), it should stick out.

    I feel like it would be condescending to shy away from any negative...errr...expression. The people who read this blog - Gaga fans included! - often have strong opinions. I don't call these folks names like "XOers" because their identities are not tied up in me. I like to share all sorts of music with the "kids", as you say, and the adults. I suspect that there are a lot of really sharp, mature young people who read this blog. I also suspect there are a LOT of Lady Gaga fans who are over 20, many of them with great taste.
