The Middle Eight

I grew up to the beat of electronic drums

You thought you weren't an indie kid

And then you heard Ra Ra Riot's Can YouTell

Cello. Violin. Melody. Second time in one week that I find myself saying Yes Yes Yes. Their album, The Rhumb Line, includes a cover of Kate Bush's Suspended In Gaffa

Great song with or without the cool video. Once again, XO comes correct with the freshness.

yes to this! Finally seem decent indie pop music is filtering through. I just discovered Just For Kicks and A Band Called Quinn this week who are providing me with all sorts of aural guitar-y delights!

What I like about Ra Ra Riot is that they're like Vampire Weekend but without all the Graceland-aping.

Ra Ra Riot w/ Cut Off Your Hands is gonna be a great double-bill.

Suspended In Gaffa is my FAVORITE Kate Bush song and their version is not at all bad. Thanks for the info.

I D'luv it! And speaking of indie, did you see MGMT won a Grammy (although, I think technically Justice won it for remixing "Electric Feel.")
