Cover story: That's how people grow up

The new Morrissey album cover. I've always thought Moz was born a lonely teenager and then morphed straight into a Garbo-esque leavemealone type. I certainly don't imagine him to be one who enjoys holding children, do you? I bet he glares at them in public places and says, "I do not need to see that."

I couldn't agree more. I bet the kid's been photoshopped in there!

He's actually holding Michael Stipe.

Good one Michael! I wish I'd thought of that!

It's funny comparing the differences between the Smiths and Morrissey cover art. Obviously, his solo stuff features him a LOT more (most of the time actually, excepting Southpaw & World of perhaps?), so one would guess that covers which feature pics of the actual artist featured sell better?

In any event, I actually like this cover (and the font), as I have liked the pictures from the previous two. So wry, so Morrissey. He also looks damn good for his age!

But, you see...he's done refusing the things he admonished as a lonely teenager/angry young adult.

Now he happily rides the stick!

And the baby.

Is it "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle" all over again?
