I grew up to the beat of electronic drums
Amazing.Really, no words. She defies explanation.
i'm just sitting down with it now. and a delicious salted caramel hot chocolate from starbucks. so it can't get any better really.
I read it this morning, as I often do.She's blooody loopy! I couldn't decide whether I was jealous of or scared for Miranda Sawyer (the journalist who interviewd her, who I have been a fan of for ages. I even own her book about growing up in Wilmslow).Looking forward to Hurricane.
It must be so hard to work with a woman like that, but I do love her. Can't wait for this album! Wonder what the Wendy & Lisa track sounds like...
Can I just say that I would have gone for it? Seriously, why not? (forget ethics, this is life) People jump out of planes sometimes, so why not have sex with a 60 yo Grace Jones and consider it a Life Event? Somehow I doubt Grace would have put the moves on me though.
Wow. I'm just at a loss. Freakiest interview ever. And Paul, I had one of those salted caramel hot chocolates Friday night. SOOOOO good!
Really? That first single is a complete mess.
The album is solid- a cross between her Compass Point sound and Massive Attack. Cannibal is a mood piece more than a song, but I love This Is (Life) and Williams Blood.
This is maybe the most incredible interview piece I've ever written, or at least ONE of the best. And yes, the album is very solid isn't it? I'm quite fixated with "I'm Crying (Mother's Tears)" at the moment.
