Wooooh! It's official

Here is the press blurb:

Kylie releases her brand new single 2 Hearts on Parlophone on November 12th, preceded by the digital release on November 5th. The single is the first taster from her new album, which will be released later in November. Further details of the album will follow. 2 Hearts was written and produced by London based electro 4-piece Kish Mauve.

Here is what I say:

2 Hearts in its original Kish Mauve incarnation is worthy of a #1 slot on the charts. By Christmas, the whole world will be sashaying down snowy streets singing "wooooh!" randomly as this tune chimes into their heads. It's a wee bit of glam stomp, though she may change it up Kylie-style. All will be revealed, all will be revealed...

The original just might be here if you're lucky lucky lucky.

I'll be looking forward to that as well! I hope it'll be availible to download on US iTunes at the same time as the rest of the world, and that Kylie will be some promo in the US! With Madonna selling out to rap, this country needs some dancey goodness that is Kylie!

Is Kylie still signed to Capitol in the US? If so, I'm afraid that they'll mess up promoting the new album, just like they did with Body Language and Ultimate Kylie!

Nice! I second Chris K.'s sentiments, too!

Somebody sound the Alleluia Chorus.

It's been so many years since Kylie did a huge splurge of new material that this will actually feel like a novelty. A thrilling novelty. And it's not often one says this kind of thing about a pop release.

I absolutely love the Kish Mauve original, so am dying to hear what they have done for her.

"wooooooh!"

although i kinda feel like we had a kylie album already this year with all the leaked material floating about, i am very excited about two hearts. You are right the original version is completely worthy of a number one slot. Yummy.

I cannot wait for this to come out already. The Kish Mauve original is ace but I think, once Kylied-up, it will be even acer.

Yes the album will apparently be coming out on Capitol, Chris.
